Improve the accessibility of your social media posts by this one thing…

• #CapitalizeHashtags

• 👩‍💻 When hashtags are capitalized, they are more likely to be read correctly by a screen reader used by someone who is visually impaired.

• 💜 For example, #FUNdraisingGeek is easier to visually read than #fundraisinggeek

Our featured charity is the Colette Louise Tisdahl Foundation.

• 🌸 Their mission is to improve outcomes of pregnancy, childbirth, prematurity, and infancy, as well as aid in the grieving process through financial assistance, education, and advocacy.

• 🌸 The foundation was founded by Michelle and Mark Tisdahl after the loss of their daughter, Colette just 9 days after her birth.

• 🌸 Michelle and Mark keep Colette’s memory alive as they help families that find themselves in situations similar to theirs - families who have to struggle with pregnancy complications and premature birth.

• 🌸 The Colette Louise Tisdahl Foundation provides financial assistance grants to families in need due to pregnancy complications, NICU stays, and the loss of a child.
